GENERAL INFORMATION

READY FOR YOUR EXPEDITION?

Route

We will do our utmost to give you the best possible experience and aim for wildlife, nature and adventure!

We obviously do what is needed to secure your safety. This means that we will adjust routes if needed for your safety and wellbeing.

First day - start of your expedition

On our day of departure: We will pick you up from your accommodation on the agreed time. You can find this in your confirmation.

Want to leave your luggage with us in the storage? No problem!

We dress up in our snowmobile gear. A safety instruction will be presented and we start preparing for our expedition! We will depart when we are all settled and ready to go!

** For our 4-day expedition NORTH and SOUTH/EAST we host a pre-expedition dinner on the evening before your expedition. You will be picked up at your accommodation at 18:00hrs and after this dinner you will be brought back. You will meet our guide(s) and your fellow expedition team, whilst we will inform you about all details and enjoy some great food!
Also on our arrival day, coming back from the expedition, there will be a dinner organized.
You will be informed about this during the expedition.

Insurance

Included in your expedition, is our mandatory Search & Rescue insurance. We strongly advise you to have your own travelinurance.
For the use of our snowmobiles, there is an additional fee of 150 NOK per snowmobile to lower your liability in case of damages.
This is voluntarily. Our guide will explain this during the instructions.

POLAR BEAR
SAFETY

The King of the Arctic...

During our expedition we might encounter wildlife. In general we have a humble and respectful approach to any wildlife we might observe.
We should behave as being guests. Our guide(s) have the important task to take care of your safety when it comes to the presence of Polar bears. We do not follow tracks, do not look for or in any way try to find the Polar bears in a way that harms either them or put you in a dangerous situation. During our overnights we will put up a safety perimeter around our camp, but we also need to have a guard during any time of our sleepover. This means that you, as a participant also play a role in this. Our guide will inform you about this during the instructions. No worries.. we do not put you in any dangerous situation.
