How we deal with your data;

If you decide to make a booking with us and use our services. We will use your personal information for the following purposes;

For all this information, we have both the basis for consent and for the agreement that we conclude.

For all data provided by you, we use it between the time of booking and a maximum of 2 years (in connection with the Travel Contract Act, where the limitation period of any claim is two years). In practice, we only use your data between the time of booking and up to 8 weeks after our return from our trip. We need this information to correspond (by e-mail / telephone), to reach you if necessary, to be able to name the invoice and to provide it to third parties (see above).

At Snowfox Travel we handle personal information with care. All data you provide to us is kept strictly confidential and will not be lent, rented or sold, nor made public in any other way. As soon as you indicate this (and you have this right at all times), your data will be removed from our database if there is no legal basis for us to store your data. This is possible, for example, because you cancel a trip with us.

After a maximum of 8 weeks after your return, we will no longer use the information provided by you. You will then no longer receive newsletters or other (digital) correspondence from us. You will not receive a message once we have deleted your data.

If you ask a question via the contact form on the website, by sending an e-mail or if you approach us by telephone, we will not store any data other than responding to your question. We do this by sending you a response to your e-mail, or by calling you back. We do not store this information.

As soon as you book with us, you indicate that you agree to provide your personal information. We store this agreement in order to be able to justify to the authorities that we meet the legal requirements.

In accordance with legal requirements of the Tax Authorities, we keep the registered invoice for 7 years after the end of the calendar year that the invoice was sent.
We cannot delete this data on request.

Liability

This website is the property of Snowfox Travel AS, based in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. Every possible effort has been made to ensure that the information on and the operation of this site is correct. However, Snowfox Travel AS cannot accept any liability for the consequences of actions based on the information provided, recorded texts, announcements or other content or operation of this site and related information.

If you want to copy an article, image or passage from this website, this is only permitted after prior written permission from Snowfox Travel AS and when www.snowfoxtravel.com is mentioned as a source in the publication.

Data leak

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are confronted with a data breach (as referred to in the GDPR), we will report this to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority within 72 hours of discovery. We also register this within our own organization and, if necessary, we inform the person (s) involved.
