Ready to experience the magical Northern lights with a small group?
Join us on this easy and accessible, but incredible hunt for the magical Aurora!

We will pick you up at your accommodation with our heated minivan and head out into the valleys. During the evening will be observing the sky at different area's and try to be away from light pollution to increase our chances to catch the Aurora Borealis in the best possible way.

On clear nights, Svalbard gives you the chance to see thousands of stars and several planets, whilst we wait for the show to begin!

Our experienced guide knows the best spots for us to be able to catch the Northern lights. If we are really lucky, we might even see them in a dancing show in the sky!

We will make several stops along our way to find the Northern lights and to be able to go home with amazing photos.

Along the way we will make a bonfire and enjoy our warm drinks and snacks to keep us warm whilst we listen to stories from your guide about the many myths and legends of Svalbard and the Northern lights.

Not sure how to take the best Northern light photos, our guide is happy to answer all your questions and capture you with the Northern lights on the background on your mobile phone.

* Please note that on very cold or windy days our guide can decide to make a stop at our heated tent instead of a wilderness bonfire, to enjoy warm drinks and cookies in a more sheltered way.

What we recommend you to bring:

Please make sure to dress properly for Arctic weather conditions although we will be driving with our warm van, we recommend you to bring: Warm winter pants and jacket (wind and waterproof), base layers, warm socks, insulating mid-layer, warm hat (like a beanie), warm mittens/ gloves. If you can, choose woolen materials closest to your body. 

Bring your camera a tripod and extra batteries!

Important to know:

If we need to adjust our planned route due to safety reasons, we hold the right to do so.

There is no reimbursement if we need to. In the unlikely event that we are not able to adjust our tour or even start your booked trip, there is always a full refund. 

Although our activity is focused on observing the Northern lights, their presence can never be guaranteed and there is no refund if we fail to see any Aurora activity.

Pickup: at your accommodation around the time stated on your confirmation.

Please just wait if we are not there on time. 

We pick up everyone at the same time, so we could be some minutes later.

We reserve the right to refuse you to join our activity, without any refund, if you do not arrive on time, are not properly prepared in terms of clothing or in any way not capable of joining our trip. Your safety is our main concern.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel, please notify us in writing.

Cancellation reimbursement:

- 22 days or more prior to departure: 95%

- 21-8 days prior to departure: 50%

- 7 or less days prior to departure: 0%.

Refunds:

We are not able to offer a refund due to route changes, sickness, cancelled or delayed flights or any other circumstance outside our control. 

Age limits:

All ages are welcome. All under 18 years old need to be accompanied by an adult.
