(extreme version with glacier crossing)

ABOUT

Our Saturday version of this hike you will spend a unique day with us into the valley of Endalen.
A valley away from the crowds, where a thousand of small streams find their way through the impressive Arctic landscape.
Put on your high boots, which you will get from us, to join all the way up to the waterfall, crossing many streams, being amazed by the Arctic landscape and possible wildlife.

Our day starts when we pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to our basecamp. Here we will change our shoes into waterproof boots, so your feet will stay dry and warm during our adventure. By minivan we will drive through the valley of Adventdalen, towards the starting point of our tour, the abandoned mine number 5 at the start of the valley of Endalen.
From here we will start our nature hike, making our way through a beautiful and serene landscape, passing many streams of water and even crossing the river if needed.
No worries about that, our experienced guides will know the best way on how and where to cross the river. It will be an adventure! Be amazed by the nature around you, scout for wildlife, enjoy the sounds of only nature and have lunch with a view over the waterfall!
After our lunch we will continue through the valley of Fardalsbakken before we start our climb up to Longyearbreenpasset to get on top of the glacier. Here you will have an amazing view over the fjord and experience walking on a glacier with all her melting channels. We will put on our spikes and will continue our way back to town.

We will put on spikes for grip

This tour will take approximately 10 hrs. Waterproof boots and trekking poles will be provided for those who like. Transfers, warm expedition lunch and drinks are included.

Included
Our professional and dedicated guide, warm lunch, hot drinks and sweets, rescue insurance, emergency and safety equipment, transfer to and from your accommodation. Also the use of our high boots is included if you do not have them yourself and micro spikes!
